Keeping calm and in control while releasing your pelvic floor. Next time you urinate, feel how your pelvic floor feels. You aren’t pushing or bearing down. Just fully relaxed and released. Remember of this feels in your body and you can also use your clean fingers to feel. Now practice breathing and reaching this sane release/relaxation. Can you hold a handful of ice and keep this release or can you hold a squat or an arm curl and keep this release? Do you have any additional tips for fully releasing your Pelvic floor for labor? Please share 💞 We want our pelvic floors to be strong and functional (not tight) so stretching and releasing (in happy baby pose for example) is just as important as pelvic floor contractions.
