No credit card required, link to sign up below: https://shrtlnk.co/uA27H – This is a quick routine combining mobility techniques, self-massage, and long-held stretches to relieve knee pain – this one focused on the glutes and quads to relieve tightness there that pulls on the knees and causes knee tightness, “pulling” or discomfort. This routine starts with a foam roller targeting the quadriceps and glutes, and then moves to two longer-held active stretches to create length and strength in the target muscles (quadriceps and glutes). The first stretch targets your rectus femoris, which connects to the patellar tendon, and can help relieve pain at the top of the knee. The second stretch is a glute stretch, and helps with indirectly relieving knee stiffness. There are multiple modifications for each stretch to accommodate a variety of flexibility levels and experiences. This routine is part of the Knee Pain Fix Series, a series of quick 10 minute follow-along mobility routines combining targeted self-myofascial release and stretches to provide immediate pain or discomfort relief to the knees.
