Headstand is an intermediate to advanced pose that requires a lot of balance and core strength. Depending on how you get into it, you also sometimes need some hip and hamstring flexibility as well. You can practice at the wall until you're ready to do it in the middle of the room! Here are some videos of mine that explain headstand further in depth:
